Our Custom Process
Every event dress by Kala Noel Designs is uniquely made, but choosing fabric, lace, color, measurement, design, and style are all a part of the custom experience. Custom wedding dresses typically start around $3,000, and adjust based on each design element. A contract is signed before work begins to ensure an agreement regarding the finished product.
We begin by asking each client to send five images of inspiration dresses, and three words that describe the way they want to feel on their special day. We use these images and words as a way to get to know each bride and carry this information into the design process. Our intention is to make each dress with the bride fully in mind.
From there, we set up a video call with our team to walk you through the measuring process and have our first face to face conversation. This part is very exciting! Our hope in these conversations is to get all the remaining information about you and your special garment. Either shortly before or following our consultation and measurements, you'll receive an album full of lace fabric to choose from. These are the fun details that start to bring the design and vision to life.
Production can take 6 months to a year, since we are a small two-woman crew, and our focus is usually on one to two dresses at a time. We strive to give each bride and dress to get the time and attention they deserve.
